I think we need to step back and imagine what it means that something like an e-book reader exists. Samuel Johnson increases in both the book his hosts’ collections, so little that for him they were a man the greatest good. What we are talking about a small miracle. If you’re like me and enjoy Gutenberg and hoarding all of Chesterton’s nothing Johnson , Shaw, Shakespeare, et al this thing is perfect and the price tag with what would have educated men for most of history we compared their hands on. Do I still with my books, of course – these things take some poetry from reading poetry. But it’s great and we should all be grateful, especially now that it is thinking of places available for 149. 99.Auch the fortune that would have been worth (examined only in relation to their function) for almost 100% of human history, sans our little self-conscious “partition.” Unfortunately, the technology that brings us the miracle is also the instrument of propaganda that we kill him. No. . . it does not have all the bells and whistles as noble competition: not you, you search for wireless and download ebooks. Moreover, it is limited to certain ebook formats. pdf,. txt ePub, Mobi, China, and RTF. I take it almost everywhere, say ich.de biggest drawback is that you have to sync it. . . or, better, synch a card reader on your PC. . . . This is Great! The Kindle screen is more beautiful than my wife, when looked at side by side. It fits into the pocket of cargo pants. Less than $ 200 in newegg.Nr. Work DRM’d pounds, but there are many classics and bittorrent, and a program called “dedrm. You can even file out and put your books in the My Documents folder! Everything can be nit – picked to death, but that’s good for the money! Rating: 5 / 5

First of all I would like to admit that I read e-books on a regular basis. Not many of them, but a few dozen per year. Keep in mind this kind of situation: it is 1 am and I have just one book that I really enjoyed, I will not go to sleep and just want to read more of the same author. In this time of night, are closed most of the bookstores, so Amazon would take at least a day are transported. So I’m going to go online to find the eBookStore and see if it verfügbar. Also bought an eBook on a spur of the moment whim a few months ago I was a eBook reader. The Ectaco was about [. . . ] As the Kindle so I thought why not. For the first about 3 months I have it non-stop. I loved the fact that I could carry it around with me at all times. I loved the fact that I will go the books I read embarrassing, actually in the public eye – (Yes, I admit, although a brief uncomfortable Bodice Rippers and Dragonlance book could be read stage), and I loved the fact that I could contribute a few hundred books with me all Zeiten.Dann I began to have problems: First of all, the Ectaco reader only reads and no standard ebook formats, how to find the [. . . ] That is, you really can not buy your eBooks to leave, but either on order that is already in the public domain, or go to the warez sites and use pirated e-Bücher.Zweitens is the memory of the native JetBook about 100 MB of memory, but you can add up to 2 GB, which sounds good, but the actual hardware of the JetBook not work. When I plug in the 100MB JetBook appears as an extra drive, about 10% of the time seems to be the second card with 2 GB but most of the time and not when I try a little larger than 10MB or so to load, the system abstürzt.Drittens sometimes the whole thing just freezes on the first place. In general, this requires fixing pushing a pen or a paper clip into the reset button on the back and everything will be good. But it’s still a Schmerz.Über the only really good feature of this reader, is the ability to text on this page is to be done. In other words, if the font is too small to read vertically, you can press a button and hold the device horizontally, and use a larger font, but see less on the Bildschirm.Bewertung: 2 / 5

I’ve had my JetBook for 5 months and I still love it. Portability is my favorite feature. It can fit in your pocket, and it should also fit easily into any pocket and comes with an attractive snug-fitting cover housing auch.Der screen is 5 “vs. Kindle, 6″. But that’s okay, it’s clear, with lots of space. (The really ignite) is not even his full 6-inch display. There is no backlight, but unless you in a well lit area, you see the situation, the screen just to nice view. None of the other popular ebook reader Backlight btw. I should have bought a Kindle, but I went with this unit instead (after a few months of study), because: 1) It is smaller, but still a nice big Bildschirm2) freedom of use: meaning I am not bound or linked to Amazon for what I need per pound. (or what files I need to convert the “Kindle-format” to: Amazon has put your PDF files for you .. I’m not crazy about the idea.) 3) The manufacturer (Ectaco) provides for handheld devices (translators) for almost 2 decades. And I thought they were a solid, well built, make equipment that did not look cheap. (And turned out to be so. I which is a black and it looks Sharp, and does not feel “cheap.”) With that said, there are a few things: the ideal format for the device a text file (.) Txt. Some PDF’s will look good, but only if they will have been correctly identified as OCR and text. Otherwise, the PDF file as the original screen contents to see and be hard on the smaller screen lesen.Ich experimented with a number of other formats (the device can read many different types), but I finally got tired of that deal with different formats, and I any PDF files that I was in the text. Then they can read fine on the device, and you can see the writing is freely ändern.Adobe Acrobat Pro, of course, the best tool for the conversion to text. But another great (and free) tool from Foxit Software. You can find it here: [...] As already mentioned, the size of the JetBook a big plus. you can hold in one hand (like a paperback book), and change pages with ease. And unlike the space-use keyboard on the Kindle, has this device an ingenious set of input buttons at Seite.Wenn you’re a bit of a techno geek and you know where the books can be found online (Project Gutenberg good side), and if you have no problems when converting files into text, then I think You will love JetBook. The only feature of the Kindle that I envy is the new text-to-speech function. But even the Kindle size defeats the purpose because it will carry too large to handle as an MP3 device . you need her in the hospital, the easiest to hören.Anstatt So, I mean eBook files to mp3 audio (with a great program called “TextAloud”) and then I can use an MP3 player to to hear the book, if I am moving, until I can sit the next time and actually read from the jetBook.Bewertung: 4 / 5
